Editorial Policy
This page explains how we create and maintain the content on RedRunIt.
Our standards
- Helpful first. Every article is written to answer a real question a reader has before or after a haircut. We do not publish pages simply to target a search term.
- Accurate and practical. We describe barbering techniques, clipper lengths and styling steps as they are commonly used. Where practices vary between barbers or countries, we say so.
- Plain English. We avoid jargon or explain it when we use it.
- Original. Our guides are written for RedRunIt. We do not copy other websites' content.
How articles are produced
Articles are researched, drafted, and then reviewed and edited by our team before publication. Some drafts may be prepared with the help of AI writing tools; when that happens, a human editor checks the content for accuracy, clarity and usefulness before it goes live, and remains responsible for it.
Health and safety topics
Some articles mention scalp health, hair loss, razor bumps or chemical treatments such as bleach. This information is general and educational. We always encourage readers to speak to a qualified professional, such as a doctor, dermatologist or licensed colorist, for personal advice.
Independence
We do not accept payment for positive coverage. RedRunIt may display ads (for example, through Google AdSense) to support the site. Advertisers have no influence over our content. If we ever use affiliate links, we will clearly disclose them.
Updates and corrections
We review our guides regularly and update them when trends, techniques or reader feedback change. If you believe something is inaccurate, email contact@redrunit.com with the page URL. We will review it and correct confirmed errors promptly.
